Strawberries
Nutrition Information
Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C (with one ½ cup serving providing as much as half of your recommended dietary allowance) and manganese, and are a good source of dietary fibre and iodine. Strawberries are famously high in antioxidants and contain an array of beneficial phytonutrients such as flavonoids, anthocyanidins and ellagic acid, which may have a protective effect against heart disease, cancer and inflammation.
