Nectarines
The nutritious and tasty nectarine belongs to the same species as the peach. While some believe the nectarine to be a crossbreed between peaches and plums, it is in fact a cultivar group of peach carrying the recessive gene for smooth skin. Like peaches, nectarines can be freestone or clingstone with yellow or white flesh that is delectably sweet and juicy.
Serving Size
1 nectarine provides 1 serve of fruit.
