Grapes
Nutrition Information
Grapes contain a number of phytonutrients that are receiving much attention from researchers for their potential health benefits. It seems that many of the potentially health promoting substances in grapes (e.g. resveratrol, anthocyanins and grape seed oil) are concentrated in the skins and seeds, and their antioxidant action may be positively linked to the inhibition of cancer, heart disease and degenerative nerve disease to name a few possibilities. Drinking red grape juice may also protect against food-borne illness.
