Endive
Nutrition Information
Endive is low in energy and is, like other salad leaves, considered a ‘free food’ by
dieticians in that you can eat as much as you like without worrying about it having an effect on your weight. Endive is also high in folate, which plays an important role in DNA, red and white blood cell formation and the prevention of birth defects.
